These chemicals are the commond products like Frontline, Advocate, Revoluation and many more. Avoid using flea treatment from the supermarket as these treatments will not help your flea problem. They are not strong enough. Treating Carpet We recommend giveing your carpet a good vaccum before we arrive, this can effective in removing flea eggs from the carpet and also will help remove all the dirt and dried blood that is left after a flea has a feed. Vaccuming doesn't reomve all of the flea larvae, it may clean between 15% to 25% of the larvae. It is also very importian to vaccum and wash all pet bedding as well. Pets will drop a lot of flea eggs around their bedding and this will create a great breeding enviroment. By putting the pets bedding in the hot sun for a few hours before washing will also help in the treatment of the flea larvea. Remember to do this before washing. It is also importain to move your funiture and vaccum as much as your carpet as possible as fleas will breed in small areas and then spread again. Then it is our turn, by spraying the carpet after it has been vaccum it will help with the long term control of larvea stage. The larvea can remain in the carpet for over 8 months, so by having a chemical control through the carpet will control them when they hatch. In our inturnel flea treatments we use two chemicals, one is a IGR which helps in the reproductive stage of the flea life cycle.
